Here the light, here the shore,

Χρυσές γαλάζιες γλώσσες

Khrises ghalazyes ghloses,

Strips of gold and azure,

Στα βράχια ελάφια πελεκάν

Sta vrachya elafya pelekan

On the rocks the deer cut

Τα σίδερα μασάνε.

Ta sidhera masane.

And chew the irons.
